Hatha Yoga is the yoga of the body; the integration of the inner and outer self.
There are lots of different
types of hatha yoga classes being offered today. Some classes stress precision and attention to detail. Some place their emphasis
on strength and/or endurance, while still others have an aerobic and toning essence to the class.
While the classes
we teach include all of the above, our class emphasis is, for the most part, on the exploration of ourselves. Our physical,
mental, and even more subtle selves.
We need not go further than we are comfortable. It is we who are leading
ourselves. This way we can go safely to places we have never been before. But it is the PROCESS of exploration that is the
true adventure. And this process can be, and often times is, carried over into our everyday lives.
